So, Valentine's Day was about two days ago and for a single person, it was great! A lot people don't understand that you do not need people to experience love because first you have to love yourself and the One who created you. What good is it for someone to love you when you are not even satisfied with who you are? God has been teaching that in my singleness I am learning to be equipped with the right necessities that I will need when I do get into a relationship. Personally, I am not striving for a relationship that will last a few years, I'm striving for a relationship that will last a lifetime. Therefore, there is a longer wait for me because I need to develop successfully so I can enter my relationship fully completed knowing that I have the necessary attributes needed to satisfy my future husband. So, in my waiting I am getting closer to God knowing that He is pouring into me everything that I need and then some for my future husband.
Wow, Ayanna!! You are probably one of the few girls left that are okay with being single! Now-a-days we rush... basically rush into destruction!!! What sucks is that we as women don't understand that before we can build a bigger house (with our boyfriend/future husband) we need to A. Have the materials and B. Know how to build a house (and that takes practice and patience.) Your spot-on sister!!! Keep it up! I pray that God will continue to build you into a strong woman of God... and introduce you to A STRONG MAN OF GOD! That way you two will make a beautiful, durable, house!!! With God as the Foundation!!! Stay patient!!! It's worth it.. and don't lose hope! Keep fighting! God Bless!
